In April of 2000, Karen Gula, owner of Karand Chocolate, Inc., a boutique wholesale chocolatier, purchased The Original Lilett’ Candies. Drawing on her expertise in fine chocolate and years of experience creating and marketing molded chocolates, Karen refined Lilett’ Candies into the quintessential gourmet candy and ice cream shop while honoring Lilett’s original recipes.
Our retail store relocated to downtown La Grange from the neighboring town of Brookfield, in the fall of 2010. Our characteristic hot pink and lime green awning is a welcoming landmark at this location. English Toffee has always been central to our candy-making tradition, and we proudly carry that on today.
In July of 2022, we introduced our signature super premium ice cream, which is infused with Lilett’ Milk Chocolate-dipped English Toffee. This signature ice cream is now available all year round.
